Map > Uplyme

Uplyme is one of the largest parishes in England with a boundary that stretches from the sea through hauntingly beautiful Devon countryside.

To help visitors, the parish is criss-crossed by an extensive network of footpaths centred round the East Devon Way which provides an inland alternative to the Coastal Path and runs from the Lyme Regis boundary at the edge of Uplyme through the village and beyond to rejoin the Heritage coast at Exmouth.

Running off from the East Devon Way is the village's own Uplyme Walk, a circular four-mile route which, starting at the village Hall, takes 2hours at a moderate pace and provide outstanding views including Lyme Regis and distant Portland across the bay.
